Intentional Rosé made from Syrah and Grenache. Sierra Foothills and Oakville, Napa Valley fruit. Sports the lightest orange/peach skin color – a very attractive color for a majority of Rosé drinkers. Smell and taste canteloupe, white peaches, wild strawberries, peppercorns and jasmine. Zesty, mouth-watering acidity with building texture that makes the Azur Rosé tangy rather than tart. I have historically questioned the value of any Rosé over $30/bottle, but I’m a believer in the Azur for $36. Azur has stood behind its position as a premium Provence-style Rosé producer and refined their style over time. That, and the bottle is gorgeous!
