This 100% Sauvignon Blanc from the Valley floor is tank fermented and tank aged with a significant amount of lees-contact for texture. It feels like a full RDA of fruit in a glass as melons, pears, apples, peaches and green banana flavors swirl about. Medium acidity for Sauvignon Blanc and pleasing richness in the mouth from the the lees contact. Dried lemon zest and lemongrass on the long, 20 second finish. I don’t often mention packaging in my reviews, but it’s worth noting the Azur Sauvignon Blanc bottle looks fantastic! (but it’s hard to photograph).
