The Fulldraw FD2 is a Rhone-Style blend of 60% Grenache & 40% Syrah from the Fulldraw estate vineyard in Paso Robles’ Templeton Gap AVA. In classic Paso style, the FD2 delivers loads of dark, very ripe summer berry fruit flavors along with the black pepper, licorice, roast coffee and dried Provence herb notes ripe Grenache and Syrah are famous for. This is a wine for fans of “big reds” with softer tannins than Cabernet Sauvignon at a similar age. Drink now through 2025 to capture all of its youthful spirit.

Fulldraw was started in 2012 by Booker Vineyard alum Connor McMahon. He and his wife Rebecca live on their 100 acre vineyard property in the Templeton Gap, southwest Paso Robles. This is the first wine I’ve had from Fulldraw and look forward to trying the others. The FD2 is a big, bold pleasure of a wine. That said, it is made for earlier enjoyment than its brethren.
