All-Estate Cabernet whose neighbor is Silver Oak (I’m told J. Rickards keeps their very best grapes and sells the rest to Silver Oak). Smell and taste blue and black fruits, cola, sweet dark plums and cassis. Mouth-filling, high glycerine, uplifting acidity and fine tannins, all framed by an elegant frame of oak. If you’re looking for delicious Cabernet for under $40/bottle, this all-Estate Cab does the job.
“Five Sisters” refers to the five Bordeaux grapes used…so Merlot, Cab Franc, Malbec and Petit Verdot are blended into the Cabernet.

Not all wine is created equal.
